WHO IS A UNIVERSITY OF BOLTON UNDERGRADUATE?
The University of Bolton focuses on preparing its students for their professional futures, but there is no typical University of Bolton undergraduate student. Undergraduates here are
studying for a wide range of qualifications in different academic and vocational subjects, they are of all ages and from diverse backgrounds. Some are studying full-time, others part-time.
WHAT ABOUT FURTHER EDUCATION (FE)?
The University of Bolton offers a range of pre-degree and FE courses including access and foundation qualifications that prepare students to study with us at undergraduate level. Our FE
students have access to the same range of services and facilities as our undergraduates and benefit from the enriched learning opportunities available at the university.
POSTGRADUATE AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT:
The University of Bolton offers a variety of postgraduate, professional development and short courses in a wide range of subjects. The University has a dynamic postgraduate and professional
community and a culture of excellence in teaching and research. We have an enviable record for graduate employment.The University is renowned for its links to business and industry,
and for supporting students who combine study with their career. It is possible to study on a full-time or part-time basis, and some courses are available by distance learning. Our quality,
flexible courses can fit around work and other commitments. Many of our part-time and short courses are taught in the evening. A range of courses also offer the relevant professional

such as creative writing, can lead on the degree courses where they can be then be studied in greater depth.The range of courses continues to expand in response to the requirements of
